2025 has been a big year for the ILC, with amazing achievements made in both starting to build our permanent center and also in striving forward in leaps and bounds with our afternoon classes for local children. We’re so proud of everything that’s already been accomplished this year, but it has given us a taste of what we can do and has made us determined to continue to achieve even more. As ever, payment from fee-paying families is ensuring that the ILC can tick along, but to really move forward and make more of an impact, we need your help.

There are so many ways in which your donations could help the local Rotenese community. Here are some examples of what your money cold be spent on:

• helping to move forward with building our new base. This has really been our biggest mission, as it will help us to achieve one of our main objectives which is to unite the whole community and have a place that everyone can come and learn, play and grow together.

• providing materials for afternoon classes

• helping pay for a local teacher’s wages or accommodation or further training

• paying for a local community member to come in and teach about a traditional custom or skill

• ensuring the continuation of the swim safety course by helping to cover costs to run it again

These are just a few examples of how donations can be spent. Our main objective is to get the center finished, but we are very happy if you would like to specify how your donation should be used.
